The Slegger Snow Sledge is a two-person sled that stands out with its unique features and design. The body of the sled is carefully crafted to distribute the weight of the skiers equally to the slides, ensuring a smooth and balanced ride. The seats on board are cut from the body and assembled in reverse, adding a touch of elegance and functionality to the design.

One of the key aspects of the Slegger Snow Sledge is the use of ecologic materials. The body, slides, and steering board are made from plywood, which is shaped by bending. This choice of material not only gives the sled a natural and conventional structure but also allows for a contemporary form to be achieved. The connection parts are made from stainless steel, ensuring durability and stability.

Measuring at 1500mm x 700mm x 250mm, the Slegger Snow Sledge is designed to provide a comfortable and enjoyable experience for riders of all ages. Its dimensions are optimized to accommodate the height of the seat, the space between the feet, and the implementation of the proposed bending technique.

Operating the Slegger Snow Sledge is a breeze. The skier in the front takes control of the steering by holding the rein, while their feet rest on the steering board for added stability. The skier at the back operates the braking sticks, which are placed on both sides of the sled. These sticks not only slow down the sled but also assist with steering, making the ride even more thrilling. Additionally, the rein can be used to pull the sled while climbing to the top of the track.

The Slegger Snow Sledge was designed and realized in Ankara, Turkey. The designers, Levent Muslular and Kiraz Sema Turhan, conducted extensive research to create a sled that captures the essence of traditional sledging while incorporating modern materials and design elements. By using ecologic materials and innovative construction techniques, they have successfully brought back the joy of sledging in a contemporary and sustainable way.

The Slegger Snow Sledge has received recognition for its outstanding design. In 2017, it was awarded the Bronze A' Design Award in the Sporting Goods, Fitness, and Recreation Equipment Design category. This prestigious award acknowledges the creativity and ingenuity of the design, which combines art, science, and technology to improve the quality of life and make the world a better place.
